Crime, safety and violence are all part of day-to-day life, but local health units state that with the pandemic, it is important information to be shared.
In a release, both the Algoma and Sudbury health units are encouraging people to take part in the online survey.
The release states the Government of Canada is currently collecting data on Canadian’s perceptions of crime, safety and violence in their community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The information collected will be used to evaluate security needs and to establish critical programs and services, during and after the pandemic.
