Positive case of COVID-19 at Manitoulin Lodge

Under the COVID-19 protocols, Manitoulin Lodge in Gore Bay has declared an outbreak of COVID-19 after a staff member tested positive for the virus.

Administrator Susan Farren says testing of staff and residents took place on May 11^th with the one staff member testing positive.

That staffer is in self-isolation at home.

The case is the 63^rd in the Sudbury and Manitoulin Districts reported to Public Health Sudbury & Districts.

Algoma Public Health is also reporting one more case in Sault Ste. Marie.

That individual is also in self-isolation.
