Ontario Northland bus service introduces a new route this weekend

Ontario Northland is not able to return to its full schedule yet but it is introducing a new route this weekend.
Communications director Renee Baker says they wanted to introduce the new route in mid-April but had to delay the move due to COVID-19 restrictions.
She says the new route will extend from Sault Ste. Marie, along Lake Superior to Thunder Bay and then onward to Winnipeg.
She adds it’s the first time Ontario Northland will offer busing outside of the province.
Baker says two buses from Sault Ste. Marie travelled to Thunder Bay on Tuesday as part of ongoing training for the staff.
The first bus is set to leave for Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday at 2:00 pm from Thunder Bay and then make a return trip the next day.
Rates, schedules and times are all available on their website http://www.ontarionorthland.ca/
