CSPGNO nominates new superintendent of education

The Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario school board says Michel Pagé has been named to the position of superintendent of education.

In the release, the board states Pagé has experience as a teacher, a principal at six different schools and an education coordinator.
Pagé’s many accomplishments include implementing a system of personalized profiles for literacy and numeracy, developing a challenge-based learning system for holistic skills development and implementing a remedial plan to raise student EQAO test results.
Pagé has also worked as a trainer for the Principal’s Qualification Program and developed an Authentic Leadership training program.
He assumes his new position on June 25 overseeing 13 elementary and eight secondary schools across the northeast region.
