Massey Fair cancelled

In all its long history, the Massey Fair has only been cancelled due to World War Two, but now has had to cancel due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The board of directors has made the difficult decision not to organize the longest-running fair in Northern Ontario this year.

In a release the board explains that this is usually the time of year they and volunteers go out to get the donations needed to keep the fair running.

However, with the uncertainty and challenges businesses are facing, they have decided not to go ahead this year.

They add they are looking forward to Massey Fair 2021 being bigger and better than ever.
