Three long-term residences, one each in the Manitoulin, Sudbury and Algoma districts, have had outbreaks declared over the last three days.
Algoma Public Health confirmed yesterday three residents of Extendicare Maple View in Sault Ste. Marie have tested positive, but have no symptoms and remain in isolation in the home.

Public Health Sudbury & Districts has confirmed its 60th case, an outbreak on Friday at the Wiikwemkoong Nursing Home on Manitoulin Island.
The woman in her 70s has been isolated and the unit continues to monitor staff and other residents.

The health unit’s 61st case is an outbreak at the Finlandia Village Nursing Home in Greater Sudbury.

The agency says a woman in her 30s tested positive on Saturday and is in self-isolation at home.
