Ontario will allow professional sports teams to begin training at their facilities in the province.
The provincial government has enacted an emergency order that will allow NHL, NBA, MLB, MLS, and CFL clubs to begin training immediately as long as they are following strict health protocols, including physical-distancing rules and they must stay in small groups. They cannot hold full team practices.
The order does not cover amateur athletes or players in lower-tiered professional leagues.
