Ontario expands “pandemic pay” to more frontline workers

Ontario is expanding pandemic pay to other frontline workers.

The $4.00 an hour pay bump over the next 16 weeks now includes paramedics, public health nurses, respiratory therapists, and all mental health and addictions workers in group living settings.  That will mean they will make $3,560 more this year.

These additions are in excess of the 350,000 workers included in the original announcement of a pay increase.
