Construction is continuing on the new school build in Espanola with COVID-19 protocols in place.
Steve Brown, the Manager of Plant Services for the Huron Superior Roman Catholic School Board says the work on the new double school build is continuing with precautionary measures in place including stipulations such as sanitization stations and physical distancing.
He adds barring any future shut-down order issued by the Ministry of Labour, he hopes to maintain the timeline with the new school opening in September as planned.
All measures must be in compliance with any public health directives issued by the Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Â Â
English Catholic and French Catholic students will be housed in a shared environment in the new school.
