A personal protective equipment drive is underway on Manitoulin Island to help fight COVID-19. S
Health Centre spokesperson, Debbie Graham, says they need gowns, gloves, masks and eye protection in high quantities for healthcare professionals.
She says anyone with unopened PPE that has not expired including vets, dentists, other health professionals and industry can help meet the critical demand for the Island hospitals.
Graham adds supplies can be dropped off at the Little Current site loading dock between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday to Friday.
She says, if applicable, donors will also be required to show their driver’s license and have a business card.
