Chi-Cheemaun Ferry 2020 season delayed

The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed back the start of spring ferry service between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island indefinitely.

The Owen Sound Transportation Company says it is delaying the launch of the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun’s spring operating season, which was set to startup on May 1st.

All reservations, group functions, and the Spring Cruise from Owen Sound to Tobermory affected by the delay have been cancelled.

Customers with reservations between May 1st and May 14th, and others holding Spring Cruise tickets, will either be rebooked or refunded.
