A Thunder Bay man has been charged in connection with the death of an off duty police officer with the East Algoma OPP. The 61-year-old transport driver is charged with criminal negligence causing death and careless driving. Thirty-six-year old constable David Dennie was driving his SUV on February 13th when it was hit by a transport on Highway 17 just outside Blind River.
