Domtar came up with a unique way to brighten the first day of Spring for seniors in quarantine at the seniors’ apartments.
Domtar Executive Assistant Darla Southwood, says members of the Domtar Earth Choice Team put together small gift packs containing a flowering kit, chocolates and tea for the seniors.
She says the team thought it would be a nice gesture, more so since the residents have not been able to see many family and friends due to COVID-19.
Southwood says the seniors were delighted and expressed their thanks through the glass barrier, all part of respecting the social distance protocols.
