The Manitoulin OPP is investigating two suspicious fires.
OPP Constable Marie Ford says last Friday around 7:30 pm, police and the Robinson Township Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Highway 540.
She says later that night at around 10:30 pm, the police and the Gore Bay and Billing Township fire departments responded to a second structure fire on Nelson Road in Gordon Township.
Ford adds the residences were unoccupied at the time of the fires.
She says the OPP is asking for the public’s assistance, specifically, if anyone saw anything suspicious during that time.
