A one-day strike by English Catholic teachers and education workers has been cancelled.
Huron-Superior Roman Catholic District School Board education director, Rose Burton Spohn says the board received notice on Friday from the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association that there will be no strike today.
Spohn says all their schools will be open and the bus consortiums have been notified.
She asks parents to check on the board website to make sure busing is available for their children.
Negotiations continue between the Ford government and the union and no other teachers’ unions are taking any job actions today.
