Summer job program available for business and non-profits

The Canada Summers Job program is now available for employers to apply for 2020 according to Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing MP Carol Hughes.

Hughes says the program creates summer job opportunities for youth aged 15 to 30 by paying all wage costs for non-profits or up to 50% for small businesses and the public sector.

She says the program helps employers provide high-quality jobs while developing young people’s skills and experience.

Hughes adds employers in the riding have until February 24th to apply.

For more information and to apply, visit Canada.ca/Canada-summer-jobs or a Service Canada Centre.
