Several schools in the Manitoulin and Sudbury districts are closed due to a one-day strike by teachers and education workers.
CSC Nouvelon French Catholic schools in the North Shore area are closed.
The Rainbow District School Board also closed its secondary schools including Espanola High and Manitoulin Secondary.
However, all elementary schools within the board will be open.
