The union representing its cleaners, custodians and trades employees have reached a tentative agreement at the local level with the Rainbow District School Board.
Board Chair Doreen Dewar says once the deal has been ratified by members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 895 and approved by the board of trustees, details will be released.
She adds the new deal, if approved, will be retroactive from September 1st, 2019 to August 31, 2022.
The contract affects workers in Espanola, Massey, Manitoulin Island and Sudbury.
