Every little bit is helping the Elliot Lake St. Joseph General Hospital reaching its goal for $1.6-million for a CT scanner.
Hospital CEO Pierre Ozolins says the latest donation of $700 from a local Beta Sigma Phi has brought the hospital to within $100,000 of its goal.
Carol Rott, vice president of the chapter, presented Ozolins with the donation on Friday.
Ozolins says personnel is now travelling to different companies to assess different diagnostic equipment.
He adds the room is also being prepped for arrival of the equipment, expected by early summer.
