Circle K stores across Ontario, including Espanola, are teaming up with the Ontario Provincial Police to promote positive relationships with young people.
Espanola OPP Constable Renee Lalonde says Operation Heat Launch is a partnership to encourage youth to acts of kindness to others.
She says officers will be on the lookout for youth who do so and they will receive a complimentary ‘ticket’ for hot chocolate from the store.
Lalonde says some 200 youth will take part in the official launch shortly after 11:00 am on November 28th at the Circle K on Centre Street in Espanola.
