A second homicide is being investigated by Greater Sudbury Police.
Detective Staff Sergeant Jerry Willmott says a man is dead after police were called in to do a wellness check at a Melvin Street residence on Sunday evening.
He says officers found a dead man and arrested another occupant, a 33-year-old woman for murder.
He adds the investigation is continuing and the identity of the deceased is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
It is the second homicide in the city this year with the first occurring last Friday where an 18-year-old was arrested in connection to the death of a 17-year-old male on Friday.
