The Ford governments ban on cell phones and other mobile devices kick starts today.
Under the new rules, cell phones will only be allowed for learning under a teacher’s watch or for health or medical
purposes and special needs.
We’ll learn today whether educational workers across the province have voted to accept their new contract.

It’s because of changing aviation rules in the U.S. and Europe.
Those countries are moving away from radar-based air traffic control and replacing it with GPS-based
The defence department says because of the age of two of the Challenger jets it doesn’t make sense to
replace the equipment so it is looking into other possibilities.
The new air rules come into effect in the New Year.
