The Rainbow school board is getting an extra $1.6 million. It’s the result of higher-than-expected student enrolment this year. Final numbers show the board had 294 extra students at its elementary, secondary and adult day schools. The small increase occurred while the board, like many school boards in the province, continues to face declining enrolment.
