The East Algoma OPP now has a new detachment commander. He’s staff sergeant Brent Cecchini who is now an inspector. Cecchini is the former detachment commander of the South Porcupine OPP. He’s been an OPP officer for over 26 years and his career includes drug enforcement and a stint with the Golden Helmets.
