Police target bad drivers

OPP in the Espanola and the Elliot Lake –North Shore region are targeting dangerous driving behaviour as part of Road Safety Week.  Local cops are looking for distracted, impaired and aggressive drivers.  They’re also checking to ensure everyone is buckled up.  These areas are the big four that put drivers and passengers most at risk.  The campaign runs through the Victoria Day weekend.  Police will also patrol waterways and off road trails.  Last year 20 people died in off road vehicle accidents and most were caused by people not wearing a helmet or drinking and driving.
