Non For Profit Groups in Algoma Manitoulin will be receiving Trillium grants to help our their respective charities. Receiving the grants locally are the Sudbury Manitoulin Children’s Foundation an amount of $99.500 over two years to fund a director of marketing and research position, outreach and education activities, evaluation and network development. The initiative will enhance and expand programming for children who are disadvantaged in the Manitoulin and Sudbury districts. Also receiving a grant of $142,500 over two years is the 4elements Living Arts. The grant money will be used to hire an executive director and help fund administration costs for this North Shore Manitoulin arts organization that has a strong environmental focus.
