Resurfacing of Highway 17 is now complete between Nairn Centre and the Totten Mine turnoff.
However, some passing lanes are still closed so slow down in those areas.
Work crews are also installing guide rails along the reconstructed area and painting lines is expected to be completed soon.
Reconstruction work is also nearly complete on Highway 540 and 542 on Manitoulin Island
