McIntyre Powder Project to have free public session

The public will have the opportunity to find out more about the McIntyre Powder Project and its effect on miners at an upcoming session in Elliot Lake.

Janice Martell began the project after her father, a former miner died, developed Parkinson’s disease from what she believes was caused by ingesting of McIntyre Powder aluminum dust.

She says a medical expert in occupational health, Dr. Christine Oliver, will be the keynote speaker.

The free public session will be held on Monday, September 23rd from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Collins Hall in Elliot Lake.
