User groups give up ice time to allow Rivermen to play game 2

The Espanola Rivermen Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club would like to thank the following Espanola Regional Recreation Complex ice user groups for their help to ensure the Rivermen would be able to play game one of the NOJHL quarter finals on home ice in Espanola this Sunday night, March 30th, at 7:30 pm, in a game time slot unresearched and imposed on both the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex staff and the Rivermen by NOJHL Commissioner Robert Mazzuca.
Failing the cooperation of each and every one of these ice user groups and their members Mazucca had stated he would award the second game of the semi-finals automatically to the Goldminers by forfeit.
The Rivermen would like to thank Paul Kallioinen and the Men’s Good Tymers League, Eric Bukowicki and the Men’s Lumbago League as well as Daniele Gatien of the girl’s midget Manitoulin Ice Angels, and have invited each team and their members to join the Rivermen Sunday night as their guests. Each ice user group and their Members have been invited to be the Rivermen guests with free game tickets
for this Sunday night’s game 2 of the NOJHL Quarter finals and have been asked to take part in the game opening thank you ceremonies where Rivermen fans are expected to rally behind the hockey club and each of the cooperating user groups showing their pre-game appreciation for the “User Groups” willingness to help the Rivermen out during a difficult time.
