Bedpans were put to good use by volunteers with the Espanola Hospital Foundation on the Labour Day weekend.
Foundation publicist, Terri Noble, says several volunteers and board members helped out with motorists donating to the cause during the holiday Monday.
She says $5,800 was raised with the funds going towards the new x-ray suite at the Espanola Regional Hospital & Health Centre.
