A woman is dead following a fatal shooting on a Manitoulin Island First Nation.
Manitoulin OPP Constable Marie Ford says both the UCCM Anishnaabe Police and OPP are investigating a fatal shooting following a call on Sunday evening about a disturbance at a residence on Sheshagwaning First Nation.
Ford says police found a 30-year-old woman fatally shot at a residence on Shingniconing Road.
Ford says they arrested 37-year-old Frank Tomaselli of Sheshegwaning First Nation who has been charged with second-degree murder.
The investigation is continuing.
