The next phase of the construction of the Elliot Lake Boat Launch and boardwalk is now underway.
City CAO, Daniel Gagnon, says part of the boardwalk and fishing pier will be closed to the public for the next one to two weeks, depending on how long the construction takes.
He says work crews are installing new docks adjacent to the boat launches.
Gagnon adds the public is asked to not cross the barricades where the work is being carried out.
