Live TV Bingo is a go in Elliot Lake.
Council accepted CAO Daniel Gagnon’s recommendation to fund the Elliot Lake Bingo Association for $8,000.
The association has raised $8,000 itself and ELNOS is providing the other $8,000.
Gagnon says the set-up costs include $8,000 for computer, software, cell phone and specially printed cards.
Another $16,000 is also required for fiber-optic cable installation in the downtown ELNOS building.
Fifteen local charities will benefit from the revenues raised from the Sunday night program.
