The voluntary watering restriction has been lifted in Espanola.
Public Works manager, Joel Yusko, says the intense flushing of the main trunk line on Tuesday has cleared up the pressure and brown water problems.
He also reminds residents a bylaw is in place as to when and where watering can take place.
Residents are reminded that Bylaw 2675/15 is in effect at all times. Watering using conventional sprinklers is permitted to take place between the hours of 7:00 am – 10:00 am and 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Even-numbered addresses can water on even-numbered days and odd-numbered houses water on odd-numbered days. Homeowners having electronic watering systems are permitted to water nightly between the hours of 3:00 pm to 6:00 am.
