UPDATE TWO: Yesterday just after 5:00 pm, officers from the Espanola OPP with the assistance of the Sudbury-Manitoulin Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a three-vehicle collision on Highway 17 near Lorne Falls Road, Walden Township.
Three people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 17 was closed for approximately two and a half hours.
The investigation is continuing.
UPDATE ONE: HIGHWAY 17 HAS BEEN REOPENED AS OF 8:00 PM … no other details at this time…
ORIGINAL RELEASE: Highway 17 is closed in both directions at Lorne Falls Road, east of Nairn Centre.
The police, medical services and police are on site.
