A Massey family received some great support from the Espanola Lobsterfest.
A cheque for $4,500 was handed over the Leslie Knibbs, husband of Beth Cassidy, and their son Scotty, from the fundraiser.
The funds will offset some of the costs of staying close to her in Toronto, which are not covered by any supportive programs.
Beth has been put on the liver transplant list and is now waiting for a match.
Her next appointment will be at Toronto General on July 6 to assess her condition.
