Kashechewan evacuates

Evacuations are underway in the remote First Nation of Kashechewan because of rising water levels from the Albany River.  Community leaders have declared a state of emergency and over the weekend about a third of the reserve’s 2,000 residents relocated to other communities like Thunder Bay and Greenstone.  The feds and province are sending planes to help with the evacuation and everyone is being told to leave.
