As of midnight, the count on the receipts at Tim Hortons across Canada began.
For every coffee purchased today, Camp Day, the proceeds will go towards sending children to camp.
This means with four franchises in Espanola, McKerrow, Elliot Lake and Blind River, eight local children will attend a Tim Hortons Foundation Camp this summer.
Volunteers are also welcome to help out with police, fire and medical services taking part.
