Two other young ladies from the local area are competing for the title of Miss Ontario North 2019.
Miss Espanola 2019 is Brylie Yarkie an 18-year-old grade 12 student at Espanola High School and is running on the platform, the Importance of Teachers in Student’s lives.
She loves volunteering at school-related activities and also works at Giant Tiger.
Miss Massey 2019 is 20-year-old Erica Budge and her platform is on equine therapy and the benefits it can have helping youth struggling with anxiety.
She is upgrading her marks to attend the University of Guelph for their Bachelor of Bio Resource Management of Equine Management.
The two will join Miss Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, Montana Brandow, next week at the pageant in Sudbury.
