Local Espanola area roads are bare and wet, but be aware of changing conditions, especially with the onset of cooler temperatures and possible snow late in the day and into the overnight hours.
There are also reports of possible flooding, especially in low-lying areas.
Construction has yet to begin in the local area, but there are signs it is coming with the erection of signage between Lorne Falls and the west end of the Sudbury four-lane on Highway 17.
Construction work will also be beginning soon in the Sagamok area, as well as Mississauga First Nation just west of Blind River.
Two bridges are also being replaced on Highway 540 on Manitoulin Island.
