A.B. Ellis students get hit with chickpox

Several students at A. B. Ellis in Espanola have come down with chickenpox.  The students are ordered to stay home until the blisters have broken and dried up.  It’s possible chickenpox could break out in other schools because the disease is very contagious.  Symptoms before the rash appears include a temperature of at least 100, sore muscles, loss of appetite and headaches.
