Sudbury police have charged a man and woman after raiding a motel room. The bust netted police 48 Fentanyl patches, cocaine and marijuana with a combined street value of nearly $30,000. Police also seized $43,000 in Canadian currency. The man is 26 and from Quebec while the woman is a 20-year-old Sudbury resident. Among the charges are three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. They’re also charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a dangerous weapon after police found a baton in the room.
