Espanola OPP had to close off an area of Massey early yesterday morning following a call about a domestic disturbance at a residence at 12:25am.
OPP community safety officer, Constable Marie Ford, says officers, the canine unit and emergency response unit were called to close off Arnold and Ferguson Streets while the situation was dealt with.
Ford adds around 9:00am, the situation de-escalated and a 33-year-old man from Sables-Spanish Rivers Township was charged with break and enter and three counts of mischief under $5,000.
His name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
