The Espanola Regional Recreation Complex and Library remains closed for the time being while snow and ice is removed from the roof.
Town EDO, Cheryl Kennelly, says the building cannot re-open without clearance from the engineer who inspected the conditions and provided the weight load analysis.
Approval is also needed by the town’s Chief Building Inspector and she emphasizes safety is paramount.
The closure is affecting some programming including registration for minor baseball tonight (Tuesday).
