Espanola baby back in hospital

An Espanola baby is back in hospital after being home for only a few hours.

Last Friday, The Moose reported Alexander Sheppard Junior was finally going home after being born two months premature and spending that time in Sudbury’s NEO unit.

However, his mother, Avery Laurin, says he stopped breathing and gis father, Alex Senior, performed chest compressions reviving his son.

The baby is back in Sudbury hospital and tests will be carried out today.

He will remain in hospital until at least the end of the month.
