Time is just about up to nominate a deserving recipient for the Joan Mantle Music Trust Community award. The deadline is this Thursday. The award is given to a person or group that’s made an impact on music in the Rainbow school board region. It’s named after Joan Mantle, a teacher under the board who made a big contribution to music over the years before she died of cancer in 2009.
