NSHN resumes normal operations in Blind River

Ongoing snow removal efforts have enabled the North Shore Health Network to safely resume all operations at the Blind River site.

Nearly two weeks ago, the health centre moved several long-term residents to Sault Ste. Marie and shut down several services while snow and ice was removed from the roof.

The services resumed this week and today, the centre will begin moving the residents back into the facility.

Snow removal from the roof continues to progress under the direction of the structural engineer who will continue to monitor the building.
