Standing on a stage and improvising a routine is not the easiest thing to do, but several students from the four Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario secondary schools will do just that.
Over 30 students from the French Catholic secondary schools including Ecole Franco-Ouest in Espanola, will compete in the We IMPROVise in Val Caron today.
Stef Paquette, a singer-songwriter-composer and improv performer, visited the schools in November to offer workshops and spark student interest.
The competition provides students with an opportunity to improve their communications skills while celebrating their Franco-Ontarian culture through improvisation.
