Kirkland Lake Gold Miners skated past the Blind River Beavers 4-1 in a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League encounter Sunday afternoon at the Blind River Community Centre.
In other Junior ‘A’ news, the game set for last Friday night between the Beavers and Elliot Lake Wildcats was cancelled due to the closure by the city.
A make-up game will be scheduled in the near future.
