There is still a ways to go to raise the $1.5-million needed for a new CT scanner at St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake
So far, about $900,000 has been raised, so another fundraising event is around the corner.
Renaissance Active Living Centre vice-president, Val Spencer, is hosting a variety talent show, but potential participants must audition and they must be from Elliot Lake.
Spencer says the audition is this Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the centre.
A panel of judges will decide who will be in the show, which will take place Saturday, March 30th.
